 Lipotherme Laser is a safe, effective procedure performed by Dr Porcaro that uses a very small (1mm) laser fiber to liquefy and remove unwanted fat in targeted body zones. 

This Lipotherme laser can succesfully treat fat in the abdomen, waist (love handles), hips (saddle bags), back (bra line), thighs (inner and outer), knees, arms, neck, chin & cheeks as well as the ankles!

Minimal Discomfort - patented technology allows you to be very comfortable and remain awake during the procedure. A mild sedative can be administered if desired.HOW IS THE PROCEDURE PERFORMED?

Dr Porcaro will first administer a mild numbing agent to the targeted zone. Then he will insert a small metal tube called a cannula  under the skin and a tiny 1mm laser beam is fired as Dr Porcaro moves the cannula back and forth. As the laser warms the fat cells, it creates a thermal effect. Fat cells, which are highly receptive to thermal energy, are liquefied. Next Dr Porcaro will aspirate (suction) the liquefied fat cells away.

During a pre-prodedure consultation, Dr Porcaro will work with you to discuss your goals, explain the procedure and set realistic expectations.  At your consultation, we will perform a Body Mass Index (BMI) test.  This information, in combination with other health information, will be used to determine the potential outcomes you should expect. 

Lipotherme is ideal for removing unwanted fat in selected body zones with all patients reporting results post-procedure due to the reduction in fat and the instantaneous skin tightening, but results will vary depending on a host of factors such as age, hormones, BMI and other health indicators.  Dr Porcaro and his staff will thoroughly brief you on all pre-procedure and post-procedure precautions.
