MEET DR. JOHN PORCARO

Dr John L Porcaro's surgical procedures are done right in our Level 2 office surgery facility, registered with the Florida Board of Medicine. 

Dr John Porcaro grew up in New Jersey and graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ with an MD degree in 1977. Dr Porcaro did a complete residency in surgery and a fellowship in vascular surgery in NJ and was a clinical fellow in ENT and Head & neck surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in NYC. Dr John Porcaro also completed a fellowship in hair restoration and has extensive training and experience in a multitude of cosmetic procedures.

Dr Porcaro had an uninterrupted surgical practice since 1977! He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Surgery and The American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons, attaining the  highest  designation (Fellow) from these two prestigious medical societies.

Dr Porcaro had a private surgical practice in Maryland for 20 years at the same hospital and office and was fortunate enough to have had the same medical assistant the entire time!

I had always planned to practice in Florida, to enjoy the beauty and to get away from the harsh winters in Maryland, so my wife and I moved to Florida 5 years ago. We have never looked back! Initially, I was an employee for a national company but established ourselves in our present location in Port St Lucie, where we have seen our practice grow.

At Porcaro Cosmetic Surgery we perform liposculpture, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), breast augmentation, breast lift & breast reduction, as well as mini face lift, eyelid lift, vaginoplasty, labiaplasty, and pellet hormone replacement therapy. We also perform lipodissolve, Botox, Restylane, Juvederm, Radiesse, Sulptra, sclerotherapy & offer aesthetician services & skin care products.

I Love what I do and I cherish the confidence my patients place in me. I have a thirst to  learn and to continually improve. I enjoy furthering my medical education and I attain many more hours of continuing medical education credits than required by the state.

I strive to meet or exceed my patients expectations . I don't cut corners and I expect the same of my staff.
